In a recent survey, people said that public speaking is scarier than death. Or let me rephrase. There are more people willing to die today, than to stand in front of you and do this. And you wonder why? You wonder what is it about public speaking that makes people nervous. And the answer should be obvious. If you really think about it. It's you! It is essentially the audience that is making the person nervous.
I can't take that as an entitlement, nor can you. If you are a parent, if you are a boyfriend, if you are a girlfriend, a husband, a wife, a parent, sister, brother, whatever, you have to continue working to get that entitlement. Don't give up but at the same time don't be sore losers. So, I will leave you with these two messages as I wind up. One, please always and always optimise for your time. There is nothing and no person more important than you and yourself. And you may think that's being selfish, but trust me if everyone in this world were to think this way, the world would be far happier than what it is today. And second, don't ever be comfortable with failure. You have to give it your best. You have to say, "I will not give up". And if I fail, that will be the worst thing that will happen to me. So, I will not fail. Success is my only option, failure is not. Have a great day!
