Josh Talks collaborates with UN Women to empower women

Josh Talks and UN Women in India collaborated to amplify the “Orange The World: #HearMeToo” campaign to discuss issues revolving around violence faced by women.

The event brought together a specially curated audience of 500+ key policy makers and youth from across the country, selected to facilitate a discussion on the causes and effects of violence against women through their varied perspectives.

It featured individual talks by Amruta Soni- NPCI+ Officer and HIV activist, Natasha Noel- Instagram influencer and Fitness expert, Reshma Qureshi- Acid attack survivor and Model, Vasu Primlani- Stand-up comedian and Afreen Khan- Poet and storyteller.

And a panel discussion on sexual harassment between Maja Daruwala- Executive director- CHRI, Aahana Kumra- Actress and Reema Ahmad- Sexual educator and Founder- Candidly. Moderated by Harish Iyer- Transgender rights activist.

The event concluded with another panel discussion on cyber harassment and online safety, between Smita Sharma- Photojournalist,  Natasha Noel- Instagram influencer and Fitness expert and some experts on social media and law.
