Two days after her disastrous shoot, fortune smiled upon Nidhi when she received a call from Balaji Telefilms. Producer Ekta Kapoor, impressed by her brief appearance on the show, invited her to audition for a lead role in an upcoming serial.

Hesitant at first, Nidhi eventually agreed to audition. Amidst a pool of other aspiring actors, she was unexpectedly chosen for the role in the serial “Kasturi.”
